Be easy on the baking side of however your oven heats up. My oven can get screaming hot at 325, so I tend to adjust the temperature to my standards. Please “DO NOT” be afraid to adjust your oven in such a way as to keep it from cooking too fast. This coffee cake is very forgiving, but you have to keep an eye out for it.
My husband and boys love a good piece of coffee cake. I have been in the baking mood lately, and I love the outcome. You can also have this on a weeknight as a sweet dessert.
