coffee-cake

Coffee Cake is just one of those food groups that just need to be shared with everyone. I find that it is most delicious when it is warmed, and served with a very decent cup of coffee. This particular coffee cake recipe has all the vibes you need and more.

This coffee cake has been a really special treat in our home. There are a few coffee cake tips I must share with you to make sure that it comes out for how you enjoy it the most.

I have about two pockets full of recipes that my guys just thoroughly enjoy with the smiles on their faces. Also, I have kind of perfected this recipe in more ways than one, and it works really well. Soon on the blog, I will be sharing some of the cutest Halloween and Fall things to give you those ideas for the upcoming seasonal trends. My boys have grown up with almost 95% of what you will see, so they are excited.

Coffee Cake With A Great Cup of Jo……

I mean who doesn’t love a good cup of Jo, honestly though with a resounding “I DONT LIKE STARBUCKS COFFEE”, there I said it whew!!!!

Here I am waiting to get my first sip and take in all this moist, delicious coffee cake goodness.

Baking Temperatures……

Be easy on the baking side of however your oven heats up. My oven can get screaming hot at 325, so I tend to adjust the temperature to my standards. Please “DO NOT” be afraid to adjust your oven in such a way as to keep it from cooking too fast. This coffee cake is very forgiving, but you have to keep an eye out for it.

COFFEE CAKE BATTER

  • Gather all your wet ingredients, and give them a mix. (Save the buttermilk, and sour cream for the end)
  • Measure and sift in your dry ingredients to the batter.
  • Place parchment paper onto the bottom of your pan.
  • Layer half of the batter into the pan, not the entire batter.
  • Once you layer half the batter into the pan, sprinkle the cinnamon mixture onto the batter, then layer on the 2nd half of the batter.
  • Once the batter has all been added to the pan, layer on your streusel mixture. It will fall onto the coffee cake like crumbs.
