COFFEE CAKE BATTER
- Gather all your wet ingredients, and give them a mix. (Save the buttermilk, and sour cream for the end)
- Measure and sift in your dry ingredients to the batter.
- Place parchment paper onto the bottom of your pan.
- Layer half of the batter into the pan, not the entire batter.
- Once you layer half the batter into the pan, sprinkle the cinnamon mixture onto the batter, then layer on the 2nd half of the batter.
- Once the batter has all been added to the pan, layer on your streusel mixture. It will fall onto the coffee cake like crumbs.
- Cook on 325-350 depending on how hot your oven can get.
