On Christmas morning after gifts, and laughter it’s time for that breakfast that can hold everyone before dinner that evening. I definitely wanted to share an easy, buttery, yummy cinnamon roll that works for all occasions.

My mom and grandmother gave me a ton of tools, but if I don’t have the time to use them, this is where the love can reside too. I love all things cinnamon rolls, but I surely do not want to spend my entire day working on that dough. Cinnamon rolls are something to be enjoyed fast or slow, and honestly, I can do both.

Using Pre-Made Cinnamon Rolls…

It’s okay to take these shortcuts, pre-made cinnamon rolls do not make you a cinnamon roll bandit. I promise as busy as I can get, I have to make sure to just give my family my best. I honestly don’t care which pan I use, it depends on how many people I am trying to feed that day. I chose my cast iron skillet because I love the density, and especially with me using heavy whipping cream at the bottom of my pan.

Choosing this pan to use, best idea ever, it rendered the best bottoms on my cinnamon rolls. I love this cast iron pan that I am using, or you can use a glass-bottom pan. Recently, I found the cutest here pan from Crate and Barrel. I will be using this pan for a lot of dishes.

These are the literal best-tasting fake cinnamon rolls ever. I found other ways to add to their goodness. Cinnamon rolls with homemade caramel sauce is just another additional layer that adds that homemade goodness to the final touch.

I decided to create the is homemade caramel sauce for the cinnamon rolls, and this just made me forget they were store-bought cinnamon rolls.

The additional items that I added to these cinnamon rolls made them even more special. Adding in the heavy cream created a very yummy, crunchy texture to the bottom of the cinnamon roll.

These Christmas cinnamon rolls will be a hit for their sheer simplicity. Also, taking the time to give them a homemade caramel topping says that I spent a lot of time on these Christmas morning cinnamon rolls. These rolls are what any dream they think of as they bite into it.

The Easiest Christmas Morning Cinnamon Rolls

These are the easiest Christmas Morning Cinnamon Rolls recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans pre-made Grands Cinnamon Rolls
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Caramel Sauce

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream towards the end of stirring
  • 1 cup pecans (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Purchase one to two cans of the Grands cinnamon rolls, and use the cast iron skillet, glass bottom pan, or baking dish.
  • Add 1 cup of heavy cream to the bottom of the pan.
  • Once heavy whipping cream has been added, layer your cinnamon rolls into the pan giving them space.

Caramel Sauce Recipe

  • Add in one stick of butter to be melted.
  • Keep a close eye on the butter, by stirring, and watching.
  • Add in one cup of brown sugar stir, and keep your eyes on it.
  • After the caramel has started thickening, add in 1/2 cup of heavy cream to make it silky.
  • Add in the pecans once heat is turned off, and nuts are optional.
