How To Make Easy Jalapeno Creamed Corn….

Jalapeno-Creamed-Corn

Jalapeno Creamed Corn is one of those very controversial dishes in my opinion. In all honesty, I never like creamed corn, but I thought that maybe if I tried a new recipe variation then it would change my entire outlook on creamed corn. Well, I did change my outlook on creamed corn, and I decided to ultimately do two things. Use fresh corn, and fresh jalapenos to create this yummy, creamy dish. Guys, I am head over heels for this Jalapeno Creamed Corn. One thing I did though to make this a complete meal was add grilled chicken to the pan, so that my guys get protein, and get full completely!

Why Use Fresh Corn Vs. Creamed Corn Out of Can…

This is where I am drawing the food line on fresh vs. out of the can. I find that freshness will always win when it comes to maximizing the flavor of your food. We have tried cream corn out of the can so many times that it sickens me to even think it would work. I decided to even try the golden sweet corn out of the can, and that may work a time or two. Honestly, though the fresh corn on the cob is the sweetest corn, and the freshest corn you can give yourself and your family. I know as a food content creator I will never go back to the can unless there isn’t any fresh available to me. My grandparents owned a 30-acre farm, which is still in our family. This farm produced the freshest vegetables and food for our generational blessings.

My grandparents grew corn, green beans, white, potatoes, sweet potatoes, fresh eggs, okra, and a few other things. This never got old to me, growing up with my grandparents, and eating fresh food often. This is what developed my love affair with fresh veggies and giving that to my children.

Essential Jalapeno Creamed Corn Ingredients…..

This recipe has always been something I have played with, but here recently I decided to throw the chicken into the mix. Also, this gives us a protein that holds them longer. All you need is a good amount of fresh corn on the cob, heavy cream, and cream cheese. You will also need a yellow onion and fresh jalapenos. I take all of my cobs and cut the corn from the cob. Yes, I also do the Corn Hack so that I don’t spend a ton of time trying to remove hair from the corn.
