Jalapeno Creamed Corn..

This is a simple dish of jalapeno creamed corn, served with grilled chicken!

Ingredients
  

  • 10 fresh ears of corn you have to cut all the corn from the cob
  • 3 diced jalapenos cut fresh is better
  • 1 block of cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp creole seasoning
  • 3 TBSP melted butter melt butter as you saute corn in the butter.
  • 5 TBSP olive oil this goes into the pan first.

Instructions
 

  • Cut the corn from the cob, make sure to get the cob off all the ears.
  • Cut up all your veggies.
  • cut up your jalapenos-fresh
  • cut up one yellow onion
  • use a big cast-iron skillet, this gets the best flavor for this type of pan.
  • put olive oil in pan and let it start to sixxle not burn.
  • throw in the corn, and onions and jalapenos. Saute them in the olive oil.
  • Once it has been sauteing for about 15 minutes, add in the cream cheese.
  • then add in the 1 cup of heavy cream.
  • Please do not add any liquid to the mixture.
  • Keep stirring until it has almost melted completely( the cream cheese)
  • Add the grilled chicken back into the pan, and put into a 350 degree oven
  • Place into oven for about 40 minutes.
  • Once done take out, and serve over rice.
