Oh my goodness this holiday cookie box has been on my mind so much since finding such goodness on Pinterest. I am pushing forward with trying to add way more holiday content on my blog, as each season rolls in. The holiday cookie box inspiration came from this and this blog.
I find that a cookie box can have many variations, and that is even better. It seems as though I enjoy the beauty of the variation in the box of all the different cookies that there are to offer inside the box. There is so much simplicity in the cookie box. I hope that you enjoy all the joy that this box has brought me in these seasonal months.
It is so easy to get lost in all the hustle and bustle of shopping and looking for the perfect gift for someone. Guys remember to stop and enjoy the time that you have with family. The one thing that I truly miss during the holidays is my “mom”! The joy that she brought to this holiday is unmatched by far. The times of eating gumbo, cornbread dressing, yummy pies, and the sheer laughter that would come from her kitchen.
Sadly, Christmas would never be the same without the person who shaped the joy that we had in our family! We find joy in each other and the people that are around us.
As I was in the kitchen creating this cookie box, my 13-year-old found so much joy in the process. He was excited about the time, effort, and things put into the box. He loves all things Christmas, and I am not mad about it.
Christmas cookies are one of those things that we can delight in for so many reasons. We indulge in the sheer fact that we are just plain old cookie lovers like Mr. Williams (LOL)!
Christmas cookies also bring out all the seasonal nostalgia from everyone far and wide. Wouldn’t you delight in such a fun box that held all those sweet goodies? Let’s take it back to last Christmas here.
The Christmas cookie box did one thing that I needed it to do, it brought joy to my guys. I thank God for the small moments because those are moments filled with goodness. Guys don’t forget that the reason for this season is love, joy, and goodness. I am thankful for healthy children, a healthy family through this pandemic.
Since being pinned up for 10 months of this year, I have grown closer than ever to my family!! I am grateful for the long movie nights, the deep dishes of popcorn, and the loud laughter that rang out from my living room. These times gave us joy, closeness, and love. I know that we have loved harder than no other.
Check out my other cookie recipe here that brings on old nostalgia!
Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!!!
